FREE Trans*, Non-binary, and Queer+ Poetry and Art Workshop - ages 14-24

TNBQ+ poetry and art workshop in collaboration with Mapping Q at Univ. of Arizona Museum of Art. Free and open to all who identify as TNBQ+ and/or LGBTQ2S+ and/or Allies between the ages of 14-24! No previous poetry experience necessary. No registration needed. Just come learn and create community with us! Snacks provided. Wheelchair accessible.

Mapping Q is a series of art workshops for LGBTQ+ youth 14-24 years where participants explore topics of art-making, self-care and harm reduction. We also explore our own identities, and how representations of self are displayed in the world around us. Through art making we respond to all these ideas. At the end of the program, every youth that completes a work of art has the chance to display that work in an exhibition at the UA Museum of Art. We have a big party at the opening reception, where family and friends are invited.
